Summary:
The Project Manager will manage and coordinate the overall drawing update effort, including schedule, priorities, contractor coordination, stakeholder communication, documentation tracking, reporting, and follow-up. The PM does not need to be an engineer, but must have solid project management experience and the ability to understand drawings, diagrams, infrastructure work, and contractor deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day coordination of the fire suppression drawing update project.
- Manage project schedule, priorities, deliverables, action items, risks, issues, and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate with the Draftspersons , contractors, vendors, client stakeholders, facilities, EHS, engineering, and other project participants.
- Track progress of drawing updates, field verification activities, contractor inputs, redlines, review cycles, and closeout deliverables.
- Facilitate project coordination meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and maintain action item logs.
- Support contractor coordination, site walks, document requests, drawing reviews, and project reporting.
- Maintain project trackers, drawing status logs, open issue logs, deliverable schedules, and reporting summaries.
- Escalate delays, missing information, stakeholder constraints, contractor performance issues, and project risks in a timely manner.
- Ensure project documentation is organized, accurate, and aligned with site requirements.
- Support a disciplined project execution rhythm throughout the estimated 3-year duration.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, construction coordination, facilities, infrastructure, utilities, or technical project support.
- Engineering degree is not required.
- Experience managing projects involving drawings, diagrams, field verification, contractors, document control, or infrastructure updates is required.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, manufacturing, or another regulated environment is preferred.
- Ability to understand project scopes, drawings, diagrams, redlines, schedules, and contractor deliverables.
- Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and project tracking tools.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
