SUMMARY:
- Support manufacturing operations and EHS team to ensure full compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs.
- Conduct EHS training and onboarding for new hires, including regulatory compliance requirements.
- Enforce EHS policies, procedures, and regulatory standards across operations.
- Support internal and external audits, including contractor compliance with EHS standards.
- Develop and implement EHS programs aligned with regulatory authorities (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO).
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies, including ergonomic improvements.
- Lead incident response and investigations (injuries, near-misses), ensuring timely and effective CAPA closure.
- Manage and track corrective and preventive actions within systems such as Enablon.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety culture and compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership to promote proactive EHS practices.

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS within regulated environments (medical devices, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing preferred).
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards: OSHA, EPA, and ISO (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Proven experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to use data for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to train employees and influence teams.
- Ability to partner effectively with operations and cross-functional team.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Environmental program management (waste, air, water compliance).
- Chemical safety (SDS, GHS).
- Safety systems: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding.
- EHS metrics and reporting (TRIR, LTIR).
- Experience with EHS systems (e.g., Enablon or similar).
- Development and continuous improvement of EHS policies and procedures.
