Automation Engineers (contractors)

New Albany, Ohio

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements automation solutions for Allen Bradley / Rockwell system based on customer requirements.

  • Configures Allen Bradley system to meet specific application requirements.

  • Identifies and troubleshoots issues with the Allen Bradley system using diagnostic tools and techniques.

  • Documents all configurations and testing procedures in detail and provides regular progress reports to stakeholders.

  • Verifies Functional requirements against the code.

  • Ability to work on Rockwell platforms.

  • Proven knowledge and experience in automation validation.

  • Works closely with other team members, including project managers, Suppliers, electrical engineers, and technicians, to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in qualification activities for Pharmaceutical Industries.

  • Proven experience in test automation including developing and executing automated test scripts.

  • Knowledge of industrial automation, control systems and SCADA systems.

  • Experience with version control systems and agile methodologies is advantageous.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and discuss technical solutions.

  • Must be able to continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of Allen Bradley and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity.

  • Experience in testing and validating the performance of the configured systems.

  • Experience in developing and testing PLC programs for both Allen Bradley, including ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text programming.

  • Hands-on experience in the elaboration and execution of FAT, Commissioning, SAT, Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification and Performance Qualification Protocols and Qualification Reports.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and technical writing skills.

  • Fluency in English (reading, speaking and writing) is a must.

  • 100% On-site and full time job

  • Professional services contract 

  • 1 year term of the first contract  

  • Project Starting in January 2026

  • All Inclusive Rate:   Contractor will pay their expenses during project contract
