Summary:

We are looking for an experience Project Cost Accountant to be part of the project team that is working in a very ambitious corporate project. This project has global visibility and require top talent to assure we have a successful product launch.  The selected candidate will need to manage all accounting related to capital investment.
 
Scope of Work
Costing

1. Work with project teams to understand process, materials and volume assumptions.
2. Prepare cost estimates based on defined scenarios following Company’s procedure.
3. Estimate impact of CoGS in P&L.

Cost Control

1. Work with Project Team to ensure correct cost allocations to projects.
2. Prepare reclassification as needed.
3. Monitor actual versus Budget/Forecast and identify any changes to forecast needed.
4. Report proactively unfavorable spending trends, savings opportunities or other areas of concern.

Government Incentives

1. Gather required information for the application to Government Incentives program.
2. Work with project team and government partners to maintain records of data that will be required for incentives reimbursement requests.
3. Prepare reimbursement requests when appropriate.

Requirements

1. Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration with Major in Accounting.
2. 5 years working as Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment.
3. Experience developing standard cost estimates.
4. Experience working with budget, actuals, variances explanations.
5. Experience working with SAP, MS Office applications.
6. Experience with regulated industries such as Pharmaceutical, Medical devices, etc.
7. Knowledge in AI, Large learning models or other kinds of automation is also highly considered.
