Summary:
Primary responsibilities include Financial Planning and Analysis support to site functions for monthly actual
activities, as well as budget, latest estimates and future year projections.
Functions:
- Coordinate and develop budgets, long-range plans, and quarterly forecasts to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
- Assist business partners in all financial relevant matters to ensure strategy and business changes are properly presented in projections and actual results.
- Provide key financial support and analysis to drive and improve business performance.
- Offer support on multiple projects, delivering complex information and recommendations clearly in both written and oral presentations.
- Collaborate with finance and other teams to understand the impact on budgets and long-range plans.
- Support productivity through reporting, tracking, and savings analysis.
- Assist in developing standard costs for manufactured items as needed.
- Prepare periodic reports on ongoing initiatives, including monthly and quarterly performance reports.
- Analyze and present operating expense forecasts and results to senior management.
- Provide high-quality, timely, and practical financial and technical advice to management and peers.
- Analyze complex problems and integrate business strategy knowledge to develop recommendations.
- Support the implementation of projects requiring financial involvement and participate in establishing sound internal control procedures.
- Possess advanced hands-on modeling skills and the ability to translate business problems into financial models.
- Drive technical process improvements and provide advanced problem-solving support.
- Prepare and review complex journal entries and perform detailed general ledger account analysis and reconciliation.
- Maintain a strong functional and developmental cross-functional perspective.
Education:
- Doctorate degree or Master's degree and 2 years of directly related experience.
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of directly related experience.
- Associate's degree and 10 years of directly related experience.
- High school diploma / GED & 12 years of directly related experience.
Skills:
- Excellent computer skills including spreadsheet software
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Possess the ability to take initiative.
- Work independently and exercise appropriate business judgment.
- Ability to learn new applications easily are required.
- Basic presentation skills, good financial business understanding.
- Strong understanding and application of basic accounting principles including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Work Methodology:
