2. Scope of Work
The IT Technician will be responsible for the following:
- Replacing, installing, and configuring computers, including hardware and software setup.
- Ensuring proper integration with the existing IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Managing user accounts and access within Active Directory.
- Connecting and configuring systems within an Ethernet network environment.
- Performing computer hardware repairs and maintenance as needed.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Education: Bachelor´s Degree in Information Technology (IT) or Information Systems (IS) or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
- Experience with Ethernet networks, computer hardware, and troubleshooting.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in a regulated industry (preferred).
- 100% on-site job at Boston Scientific in Dorado-PR
